Hidden bunker arc raiders: How to Enter the Hidden Bunker on Spaceport in ARC Raiders

The ARC Raiders world continues to grow with each update that encourages deeper exploration, team collaboration, and mysteries that are hidden within its battle zone. There are mysterious experiences, and few mysteries have sparked intrigue with players as much as the Hidden Bunker on the Spaceport map. Many players have seen the “Hidden Bunker” condition occur in missions, and have struggled to find and unlock the underground bunker.

This guide covers everything you need to know to find the bunker, the rewards you can find that are unlocked upon discovery, and some tips and strategies so your team can make use of this uncommon in-game experience.

The Hidden Bunker Event, What do You Need to Know?

The Hidden Bunker is not a permanent location you can go to for as long as you would like. The Hidden Bunker has to be “active” within the Spaceport map generation and only happens with special conditions- Hidden Bunker. The Hidden Bunker condition is randomly activated on certain missions or match instances when playing on the Spaceport map.

When the map condition is active, you will see several antenna icons on the Spaceport map that you can track for activation. These antennas are not just random elements for decoration. These antennas are the initial point for activation to access the underground Hidden Bunker. All 4 antennas need to be found in order for you to activate and access the bunker.

Overall, the game gives only limited cues to the exact locations of these antennas, which guarantees the need for teamwork, observation, and communication. It’s not just about finding them, but also defending against the waves of enemies guarding them.

Step 1: Recognizing When the Hidden Bunker Condition is Active:

When loading into the Spaceport, take a look at your in-game map. If the Hidden Bunker condition is triggered, you will be able to see a series of antenna icons spread out in different locations on the map; these are the activation points to synchronize and eventually, the doors to the bunker will become unsealed.

When the Hidden Bunker condition is active, each time the locations of the antennas will change. This adds a replayable value to the event because no two runs will be exactly the same. Teams will need to adapt quickly and assign players to different sections of the map.

If you do not see the antenna icons in the map, then the Hidden Bunker condition is inactive; you can finish your current game and re-queue until the Hidden Bunker event spawns.

Step 2: Finding the Antennas:

After confirming the condition is active, it is now time to find the antennas. Generally, there are four antennas placed in different areas throughout Spaceport. These areas can be rooftops, platforms, and locations that require zip lines or high mobility gear to reach.

When you get to any location of the antennas, you will see that they emit a low level electronic hum and a top-glowing light indicating that it is an interactive object. However, once you get close to it, you will be engaged in a combat situation.

Enemies will spawn on the scene immediately to defend the antenna. Depending on the current difficulty of your match, the enemies can be aerial drones, a heavy walker type enemy, or ranged ARC units. The fight can be difficult if your team is spread out, so make sure at least two players travel together!
Once you eliminate all of the enemies near the antenna, the interaction prompt will show. You can then “Send Unlock Signal.” When you send the signal of the antenna, the unlock signal will go through to the bunker locking mechanism. You need to do this for all antenna to have access to the bunker completely.

Step 3: Teamwork and Strategy

Since the antennas are spaced far apart, time management and coordination is important.

Here’s a tried and true team strategy that works well for most players:

Divide & Assign: Break the team into 2 pairs, with each pair working on 2 antennas.

Stay in Touch: Communicate, either via in-game voice or through pings, while you progress. Let your teammates know when their antenna is being attacked or activated.

Avoid Overlapping Paths: Both pairs should be going in separate directions, so that efforts are doubled.

Regroup if Necessary: If one pair faces an exceptionally difficult enemy spawn, the other can provide backup when the pair activates their antenna.

Speed is paramount, but so it survival. The sooner all antennas are activated, the higher chance enemy reinforcements do not interrupt your progress.

Step 4: Understanding When the Bunker Unlocks

After the fourth antenna has been activated, an announcement will be made to the entire raid, triggered by the activation of four antennas. You will hear an audio cue confirming the Hidden Bunker has opened. You might see the detection on your HUD as well for the unlocked status.

This is the cue for players to regroup and move toward the bunker entrance, before other raiders or enemy patrols can reach the bunker first. The bunker is a shared objective, so getting there first is critical, or there may be no loot left after arriving late.

Step 5: Finding the Entrance to the Bunker

The Hidden Bunker is located on the west side of the Spaceport map, just east of the gigantic, industrial Fuel Processing Point of Interest. The bunker is not immediately visible from a distance, but you will see a reinforced metal hatch set into a rocky section of terrain.

As you approach, the hatch door will automatically open once the unlock signal is triggered. Go down several metallic, stairs and then the underground facility comes into view. You will immediately notice a stark transition, from bright sunlight to dark, machine-filled corridors where sunlight is absent.

Step 6: Walking around Inside the Bunker

Once inside, players will encounter a series of metallic hallways, storage rooms, and various control centers. This structure feels distinct from the open combat scenarios, which are the hallmarks of ARC Raiders. The space feels more than narrow, echoing, and is more conducive to exploration rather than long-range combat.

Loot Opportunities

There several loot crates located throughout the bunker to loot. The loot can yield a variety of items, such as:

rare weapon parts and crafting supplies

high-tier ammunition, used in your weapons

gear blueprints

healing supplies

The loot distribution appears do be semi-random, so two separate teams may engage with completely different rewards, on a separate run.

Data Terminals and XP Rewards

Step 7: Collecting and Extracting the Loot

After looting the crates and downloading anything available, you will want to leave safely. The bunker won’t collapse or shut off right away after being triggered, but you will increase your risk of engagement against other teams if you remain inside too long.

Check every corner for boxes before leaving. Some players have noted gaining rare craftable components by checking behind crates or in side rooms (where they can be found). Feel free to exit your bunker through the hatch you entered!

Once you’ve exited, gather your team and prepare to extract as a team once all players have loot on them. You want all team members to have loot, and to be safe to the extraction site regardless if it is a survival type session or not. Arriving at the extraction site safely is just as important, if not more than requesting/taking the portal in or out of the bunker.

Step 8: Tactical Tips for Ensuring Successful Runs

When attempting one of your Hidden Bunker missions, these are some practical advice that has been collected from players to make your experience easier:

Bring mobility gear: Ziplines, grappling items, and mobility boosters are very useful to go directly to elevated antennae!

Pack healing items: We’re not joking. The antenna defense fights can get chaotic and hectic sometimes and all players should have at least one medkit.

Talk talk talk: Communication reduces redundancy and effort by staying in contact with your other team members and letting them know when the bunker is hot and ready!

Assign roles: One player could spontaneous scout, another could collect a drop (or survey the area).

Step 9: Importance of the Hidden Bunker

Aside from the regular excitement of discovery; the Hidden Bunker serves a number of purposes in the game. It rewards players for exploration, coordination, and awareness. Here is why it is significant.

Replay Value: Since each condition does not happen every time, players want to come back to Spaceport for another chance to unlock the Hidden Bunker.

Teamwork: Activating four antennas located throughout the map takes, communication and cooperation.
High Value Loot: The bunker usually rewards better than the standard mission objective.
Lore: Inside the Hidden Bunker, you will find a data terminal that reveals a small portion of the history of ARC. The lore is important if you want depth in the world of Spaceport.
Mystery: There are still many players discussion whether there are additional secrets in the Hidden Bunker indicating that the feature might change in the future.

Step 10: Common Traps

Even when experienced players do not miss out on rewards due to unfortunate and avoidable errors. Here are some traps to avoid:
1) Team Communication; Working solo greatly increases the likelihood of being overwhelmed during the antenna defense.
2) Activation While Enemy Presence; Activating an antenna while enemies are still in the process of being killed will cancel activation; kill the enemies first.
3) Forgetting the Fourth Antenna: Several teams lose track and listen to the players who think activating three antennas is sufficient. You must activate all four.
4) Late Arrival

Step 11: The Atmosphere and World-Building

The bunker is not merely mechanical, it is a narrative device. The metallic corridors, flickering lightbulbs, and muted electronic hums immediately create a sense of tension and immersion. You feel like you are going through the remnants of a long-lost military outpost.

For instance, you might find the walls of the bunker features faded logos and storage rooms filled with torn down ARC machinery. These all contribute to the implication that the Spaceport was once a place of importance to pre-collapse civilization. In addition to pulling you into the environment, the bunker adds to the storytelling as it allows the world of ARC Raiders to feel even bigger and cryptic.

Step 12: What Could Come Next

Many players are under the impression that the Hidden Bunker is just the beginning. Some speculate updates could provide implications to the multiples bunkers that are across the multiple maps, or even that specialist missions would be introduced that tied to the location of cash. Other players suspect that the downloads on the data terminals may provide an opportunity for larger narrative events later in the game’s progression.

However you see it, the fact that the bunker exists is indicative of the development teams planned commitment towards an offering of layered cooperative play where curiosity and coordination is rewarded.

Step 13: Final Thoughts

The Hidden Bunker on Spaceport is one of the most curious secrets in ARC Raiders. It turns a normal raid into the most story-fulfilling experience aastal.
